BEE Happy!

Image
Sometimes simple can have as much of a impact as something fancy.  In these crazy times, it's best to remember to simply Bee Happy!  Sadly, the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper is no longer available, but I still love it and wanted to use the remaining scraps.

My Stampin' Markers helped with the sentiment - it was actually from the Modern Heart Cling Stamp Set.  All I needed was the 'happy' and I really like this font.

A little leftover DSP for the flap of the envelope, and this precious is ready to be sent to a friend!

Everytime I look at the Peaceful Poppies Suite, I find something new!  I enjoyed coloring in the poppies with different shades of red, or in this case, poppy parade.

Thanks to my Stamparatus, my greeting inside of the card came out straight - whew!

The Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper is absolute divine!  I added some to the inside of the envelope - there are patterns that can be used on their own (check out my blog this week for samples) or as a backing.  I LOVE DSP's that offer so many different options!

I got to play a Mystery game, hosted by Stamping Mom, awhile ago and it was fun!  A new mystery is revealed every hour and even though all those that play have the same measurements, it is fun to see what they come up with.  This was my result - believe it or not, this is the first time I actually played with my Painted Poppy Bundle - love it!

If you notice that the insert is an odd shape - please don't say anything....I stamped it for a portrait card and then realized I had made a landscape card, oops!  I had already put everything away by the time I realized my mistake, so I figured it out.

I hope you like this spring-y card - it was fun to make.  Most importantly, it was very easy!  Stay healthy!!

Happy April 1st to all my Quarantined Queens!

If you are anything like me, I am going a little stir crazy, but all of this down time gives me lots of time to create!  I have several of the Sale-A-Bration Kerchief Card Kits sitting around, so thought, why not??

Starting with the Poppy Parade card, I changed things up a bit and assembled one in portrait and the other in landscape.  I am not great at tying bows, so I decided to place the twine a little differently than the directions.

Then I moved onto the Balmy Blue card and basically did the same thing as the Poppy Parade version.
Hmmmm...what to do with these cards?  I searched YouTube and found a perfect sized box on Sam Hammond Donald's site.   Instead of a window sheet, I used a piece of vellum, but overall, my box is the same.
