a perfect little gift for someone special....or for you!

I have been searching hi and low for a box to hold 4 note cards and envelopes.  I have a collection of prototypes in my craft room that would make your head spin.

The pouch will hold 4 note cards and envelopes easily - even cards with embellishments! The sentiment on the outside of the card is from To Every Season - I needed something small and this fit the bill.

The Snowman Season Photopolymer Stamp Set has the cutest sentiments.
Even though I used the gorgeous Real Red ribbon to tie the pouch, I added a tiny Velcro spot so that the lid closed securely.

Mail A Card Monday

The card I am offering today is a simple “thinking of you” card.

The To Every Season Bundle allows so many different options -it is a stamp set that every stamper should have in their stash. This Bundle can be yours for only $36!

The fun part about this card was the gold flicking that I did using some shimmer paint and the aqua painter.

No card is complete without adding an envelope liner!

I can't help myself...one more!

I love cards.  I love everything about making them.  But I REALLY LOVE gift boxes!  I know, it's weird, but show me a great packaging design and I go wacko!

Once again, I got my inspiration from Julie DiMatteo.  I would say this box was a little more than a beginner crafter's item, but it still was pretty easy to make.  It is sturdy and such a cute way to present the small hand creams from Bath and Body Works.

Uh Oh, I am on a roll....

I tend to get a little addicted to 3D projects and my project today is no exception.  Thanks to Julie DiMatteo I made this adorable little antibacterial holder.  I wasn't sure if it would be a conflict, so I didn't show the actual purepac, but it says GIVE THANKS on the front.

I think this will make a great little project for my Make & Take in November, don't you?  It couldn't be any easier, especially with Julie's directions.  The pumpkin was made using the oval label in the Tiny Keepsakes Die Cutting pack and the leaves and stem (the stem is hiding) were made using the  punch that came with the Harvest Hello Bundle.

Looking forward to making this again!

Mail a Card Monday - Happy Birthday!

When it comes to inspiration, you can find it everywhere for just about everything!  Today's card was inspired by the flowers on the alter at church.  I sat there looking at them during mass and thought the colors were vibrant yet very fall-like.

The flowers had bright yellow (Pineapple Punch), deep red (Real Red), beautiful brown cattails (Early Espresso) and shiny gold highlights (Gold thread).
The sentiments (both on the front and inside) come from the versatile Here's a Card Cling Stamp Set.

The flower centers are the Perennial Essence Flower Centers that I colored with the Basic Black Stampin' Blend (for the yellow flower) and Early Espresso Stampin' Marker (for the red flowers).  I never thought to color the flower centers but it worked out quite well.
